Call for nominations for positions on ISHR International Council

The 2028 ISHR International Nominating Committee is seeking nominees for each of the positions (listed below) which will be elected next year to take office at the World Congress in 2028. Kindly consider submitting a nomination for these important leadership positions.

Based on ISHR Bylaws, all nominees must have been members of the ISHR for at least one year.

The open positions and terms of service are listed below:

• President-elect (2028-2031; winner must serve two additional terms as President and Past-President)
• Secretary-General (2028-2031)
• Treasurer (2028-2031)
• 5 At-large Council members (2028-2034)

Please note:

• A description of the duties of each officer and councillor can be found in the ISHR bylaws.
• You must ascertain that the nominee is willing to serve if elected
• You may nominate a candidate for more than one position, if you feel they are qualified
• Self-nominations are accepted

To complete your nomination, please submit

• name, university/institute affiliation, and email address of the nominee,
• position(s) for which you are nominating the candidate,
• and a brief biosketch or short CV of the nominee
